Born in 1935 in Paris, at the age of 16 enrolled in art school at age 19 made his first poster for the film. Then he studied at the school of artists, specialty commercial art (advertising), today he is the author of many masterpieces of advertising art for movies nowadays considered a world heritage film industry. Since 1980, the artist goes to another level. Since then, his paintings are a new generation, which follows naturally from the commercial and transformed into contemporary art.
No matter who the protagonist of his paintings: African or Asian peasant or a dancer, a familiar face to us or unknown … Woman is the central model of his paintings. “The Great Magician” bright colors and light, he loves contrasts, ambiguity, partial shade and smooth transition from one color to another. The artist does not bother with unnecessary details, trying to distract the viewer. It simply paints, creating one or two extra items. His paintings, on the border between dreams and contemplation, they tacit invitation to meditate. For 40 years, Yves has established himself as a talented artist, many of his works are in private collections.
