Artist C.Michael Dudash. Western, romance and warm atmosphere
Over the past 32 years, C.Michael Dudash completed more than 1,800 paintings and assignments for clients worldwide. His early career was focused on illustrator creating work for the film industry, advertisers, publishers of books, for magazines, design firms, corporations, and institutions such as the United Nations and the US Postal Service. They brought him national fame and numerous awards. Michael Dudash was born January 12, 1952 in Mankato, Minnesota. Artist and illustrator Michael won a good reputation, creating pictures that can be described as “romantic atmosphere of realism, where the characters are bathed in a beautiful mixture of light and color, hidden shadows.”
Although C.Michael Dudash are increasingly turning their attention to the pictures with the characters and the history of the Old West, Michael still loves to draw objects that surround it – landscapes, still lifes and portraits. Constantly growing number of corporate and private collectors appreciate his hard work, the use of light and colorful, warm atmosphere of his paintings.
Living in Vermont, Michael was lucky he was able to draw and learn from Richard Schmid and Nancy Guzik. In the past few years, Michael has been involved in the auction Rist Canyon Art Auction – “Richard wonderful teacher and person, and I always appreciated his ability to inspire their friends, fellow artists and collectors.”
Like most artists, Michael is incredibly passionate about his life’s work, he lives with his wife, Valeria, and is currently working in his home and studio in Northwest Pennsylvania.
