Alexander Shadrin born January 22, 1968 in Volgograd. In 1993 he graduated from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Arts of the State University in the city of Izhevsk. During his studies, experiments in different brushwork, comprehending, and passing through the philosophy of each of the artistic phenomena: from ancient rock paintings to avant-garde. Copies of the classics of Russian paintings of the XIX century, giving it a huge difference in your education. By 1994, formed his own original manner corresponding to his creative temperament and understanding of art. His movement in art called perceptual (figurative sense).
Since 1995 he has been living in Kazan. Spent more than 20 solo exhibitions in Kazan, New York, Izhevsk, Moscow, Perm, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk. Participates in national, Russian and international projects. The winner of Russian and international contests of contemporary art. In 1995-1996, together with Rumiey Shadrina designed productions Roman Viktyuk “Butterflies” (theater “Moscow City Council”, Moscow) and “Butterfly, butterfly” (theater “Satire”, St. Petersburg). In 2000-2004 increased their education in graduate of the Academy of Arts of Russia, Head of Yakupov HA Since 2003 – member of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan.
In 2010, Alexander organized an international traveling art project “Masha is to live with my grandmother,” whose goal is to bring together authors, whose career began in the Soviet period, and despite the dashing 90-s and steep market 2000s, these artists were able to maintain creative individuality.
